On behalf of Woo Ride Pakistan we want to thank YOU for celebrating 23rd March with us. Your presence with zeal and zest on this Revolutionary Day surely deserves a token of gratitude.
The festivity was in its true spirit with a music band playing national tunes, kite flying, Pakistani food and other activities.
Pink Ride, the service line of Woo Ride
especially arranged a session focusing on women empowerment. The participants showed keen interest in various aspects of this service.
A glimpse of the enthusiasm of our dear attendees regarding Pink Ride!
Two university going sisters Amnah and Sarah want to bear their study expenses themselves. They were curious to know if they could drive on the busy roads of Karachi and earn. “Please don’t worry.
Professional training at Pink Ride will be your best guide,” we comforted and could see sparkle in their eyes.
Accompanied by his wife, Azeem Butt asked an interesting question like many others, “Do you welcome women clad in burqah as drivers?” And to his amusement we answered smilingly, “Why not Sir! Pink Ride is all about empowering women with ace and grace. We have a dress code and always appreciate such ladies.”
“I work 8 to 2. How would females with restricted job timings become Pink Ride Drivers? Can I be an entrepreneur with my own car?” Masooma Mohsin, a college lecturer asked. She was pleased to know that every female driver has the liberty of adjustable timings.
Besides it is not about one car it is about fit and neat car to be an entrepreneur.
Mr. Safdar Mehmood, retired army personnel, happened to be our great support. “Being a father of four daughters, I understand the transportation problems faced by Pakistani females,” he said. We tried our best to answer all of his nitty gritty questions. In the end he said, “Register my two cars specifically for Pink Ride”.
Thank you Pakistanis! We are grateful for your valuable time, support and coming to the 23rd March event. We feel encouraged to turn your passion into profession. Join Pink Ride.
The event was held at Defence Authority Creek Club, Karachi on 23rd March 2017.*
